Privacy Policy

The short version
CycleWell stores the cycle, symptom, sleep and pregnancy data you choose to log so it can show it back to you across your devices. We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it for ad targeting. You can export or permanently delete everything at any time from Account & billing.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address, and a display name if you set one.
- Health data you log: period start and end dates, flow, symptoms, moods, sleep, basal temperature, intimacy, notes, medications and supplements, and pregnancy due date.
- Cycle settings: average cycle length, period length, luteal phase length and tracking mode.
- Learning activity: which articles and videos you save, mark as read, or complete quizzes for.
- Subscription data: your plan, status, renewal dates and payment history records. Card details are handled by our payment processor and never reach our servers.
- Technical data needed to run the service, such as error reports and security logs.
How we use it
We use your data to calculate cycle predictions, fertile windows and pregnancy progress, to show your history and trends, to recommend educational content, to send the reminders you enable, to provide customer support, and to operate billing for Premium. We do not use your health data to train advertising profiles.
Who can see it
Your health records are protected by row-level database security, so each record is readable only by the account that created it. Access on our side is limited to what is needed to operate and support the service. We use service providers for hosting, database, authentication, email and payments; they process data on our instructions only.
Sensitive data
Reproductive health data is sensitive. We only store what you enter, we never require you to log anything, and you can delete individual entries or your whole account. If you prefer not to store a detail, leave the field empty.
Your rights and controls
- Export: download a complete copy of your data as a JSON file from Account & billing.
- Delete: permanently delete your account and every record attached to it from Account & billing. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
- Correct: edit or remove any log entry from the daily log and calendar.
- Withdraw: turn reminders off at any time, or cancel Premium without losing your logged data.
Retention
We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete your account we remove your profile, settings, logs and saved library items. A minimal billing record may be retained where required by tax or accounting law.
Children
CycleWell is not directed at children under 13, and accounts should be created by someone old enough to consent to health data processing where they live.
